Draft for checking. Nurielle Cosmetics needs to check this page before the shop opens and fill in the words in [square brackets]. It is a starting point, not legal advice.
1. About us
This website is run by [to fill in: legal name], trading as Nurielle Cosmetics, [to fill in: a sole trader, or a company registered in England and Wales with company number …]. Our address is [to fill in: postal address]. You can reach us at hello@nuriellecosmetics.com.
We are not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added to our prices.
2. These terms
These terms apply to every order placed on this website. Please read them before you order: by placing an order you agree to them. We may update them from time to time, and the version on the website when you order is the one that applies to that order. Our shop is for customers in the United Kingdom.
3. Your order
When you check out, you send us an order. We’ll email you to confirm we’ve received it, and the contract between us starts when we send that email. If we can’t accept your order, for example because a product has sold out or a price on the website is obviously wrong, we’ll tell you and refund anything you paid in full.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling and are what you pay. Delivery is added at checkout, and you’ll see it and the total before you pay. We take payment when you place your order, using the payment methods shown at checkout. Card payments are handled by our payment provider, and we never see or keep your full card details.
5. Discount codes and Bundle & save
One discount code can be used per order, and codes can’t be exchanged for cash. The welcome code from the Nurielle letter can be used once, only with the email address that signed up, and it expires 30 days after it’s sent.
Where a product offers Bundle & save, the discount applies while enough products from that bundle are in your bag together. If you take some out, the rest go back to their usual price before you pay.
6. Delivery
We deliver to UK addresses only. Delivery options, prices and times are on our Delivery and returns page. Delivery times are Royal Mail’s usual times, not guarantees. The products are yours, and your responsibility, once they are delivered to the address you gave us.
7. Your right to cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you can cancel your order within 14 days, starting the day after you receive it, without giving a reason. To cancel, email hello@nuriellecosmetics.com with your name, your order number and the products you are cancelling, or send us the form below.
You then have 14 days to send the products back. We refund you within 14 days of receiving them, or of receiving proof that you’ve sent them if that comes first, to the way you paid. If you cancel your whole order, we also refund the cost of standard delivery. You pay the postage for sending products back, unless they are faulty or not what you ordered.
This right doesn’t cover sealed products that aren’t suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once they have been unsealed after delivery. That includes our skincare and ingredients once opened.
Our own promise to take back unopened products within 30 days, on the Delivery and returns page, is in addition to this right.

8. Faulty products
Our products must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If one is faulty, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives you the right to a full refund if you tell us within 30 days of delivery, and after that to a repair, a replacement or a refund. Email hello@nuriellecosmetics.com and we’ll put it right. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights.
9. Using our products
Our skincare and ingredients are for use on the skin and hair only. Always patch test a new product first, and follow the directions on the label and the product page. Dilute essential oils before they touch your skin. If you have a skin condition, are pregnant or aren’t sure, ask a doctor or pharmacist before use.
If you make products with our ingredients, you are responsible for what you make. In the UK, cosmetics that are sold or given away need a safety assessment first.
10. Trade accounts
Trade accounts are for businesses such as salons, spas, shops and makers. We approve applications at our discretion. Once approved, you see trade prices when you sign in. Your first trade order must come to £150 or more before delivery, and later trade orders to £100 or more. Discount codes and Bundle & save don’t apply to trade orders.
Trade buyers buy as a business, so the right to cancel in section 7 doesn’t apply to trade orders. [to fill in: whether trade buyers may resell our finished products, and on what terms.] We may close a trade account at any time, and orders already placed will still be sent.
11. Your account and reviews
Please keep your password to yourself. You can change your details in My account, or ask us to close your account at any time.
Only customers who have bought a product can review it. Reviews must be honest and your own. We publish good and bad reviews alike, and we only remove a review if it contains personal details, is offensive or breaks the law.
12. Our responsibility to you
If we break these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of that. We are not responsible for loss that wasn’t foreseeable, or for business losses. For trade orders, our responsibility is limited to the price of the order. We don’t limit our responsibility where the law doesn’t allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for your legal rights about faulty products.
We aren’t responsible for delays caused by events outside our control, such as postal strikes or severe weather. If that happens, we’ll tell you and you can cancel for a full refund.
13. Your information
How we use your personal information is explained in our Privacy policy, and the cookies we use in our Cookie policy.
14. Questions, complaints and the law
If something isn’t right, email hello@nuriellecosmetics.com and we’ll reply within one working day.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales [to check: Scotland or Northern Ireland, if the business is based there]. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
